The BBQ Store, Inc. (“The BBQ Store,” “we,” “us”) sells grills, smokers, and outdoor cooking equipment, and designs and builds custom outdoor kitchens in Bakersfield and Kern County, California. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.

What we collect

• When you ask us about a project: your name, phone number, email address, the address of the job, and what you tell us about the space, the equipment you want, your budget range, and your timeline.
• When you buy from us: billing and delivery details, the products purchased, and warranty registration information where a manufacturer requires it.
• When we build for you: site photographs, measurements, drawings, and permit or utility information needed to complete the work.
• When you visit our website: basic technical information such as browser type and pages viewed.

Why we collect it

• To answer your question, quote the work, and schedule a visit.
• To order, deliver, install, and service the equipment you buy.
• To send order updates, delivery and appointment notices, and receipts.
• To honor warranties and handle service calls.
• To meet legal and mobile-carrier requirements around consent and messaging.

Who we share information with

Only the parties needed to do the job: the equipment manufacturer or distributor shipping your order, the delivery carrier, our installation and trade partners assigned to your build, our payment processor, and the software we use to run the business — including our customer-record and messaging platform. Each receives only what it needs, and each is bound to protect it. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

We never share mobile numbers or SMS consent data with third parties for their own marketing. That restriction has no exceptions.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a customer, and afterward as long as we need it for warranty, tax, accounting, and legal records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, except where we are required to keep it.

• Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.

Children

Our products are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

These terms apply to text messages sent by The BBQ Store, Inc.

How consent is obtained

We only text people who have given express written consent to be contacted by The BBQ Store. Consent is collected in one of these ways:

• You enter your own mobile number on this website and agree to the consent language shown beside it at the point of entry.
• You complete and sign a printed project sheet or intake form in our store, which names calls, texts, and email, and states that consent is not a condition of purchase.
• You call or text our business number first.

Consent is never bought, rented, or inferred from a purchase. You may choose which channels you accept, and that choice is honored.

What we send, and how often

Message frequency varies by conversation. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from us immediately. Reply HELP for help, or call (661) 417-0007. Opt-outs are honored automatically and permanently unless you opt back in. Upon sending STOP, we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS.

Quiet hours

Automated messages are sent only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the recipient’s local time zone.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Prices, specifications, and availability shown here are provided in good faith and may change without notice. Manufacturer promotions run on the manufacturer’s schedule. The figures written into a signed quote or sales order are the ones that govern that purchase. Nothing on this site is an offer or a contract by itself.

Quotes and custom work

A quote for a custom outdoor kitchen reflects the scope, materials, and site conditions known at the time it is written. Changes to scope, materials, or conditions discovered during the build change the price, and any such change is put in writing before the work proceeds. Quotes expire on the date printed on them.

Warranties

Equipment carries the manufacturer’s warranty, and those terms govern. We help you make a warranty claim, but we do not extend or replace a manufacturer’s coverage unless we have put something different in writing.

Automated messages

Some messages we send are generated automatically. Where the law requires it, including California’s bot-disclosure rules, our automated messages identify themselves as automated. You can always reach a person at (661) 417-0007.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes are handled in Kern County, California.
